Anyone who’s got their eye on our Google gig calendar should know that our next gig is with our favourite band in the world, Dat Politics. We’ve supported them a few times and we always have the best time ever. This time they will be playing at the Brudenell Social Club, and it’s also a fundraiser for an under-18s rave that our youth worker friend Jamie is organising. There are two other bands playing, and it’s only a fiver to get in. This is the one Leeds gig this year that should rightfully be sold out, so if you can make it, PLEASE come along.
And, the next day, even more good stuff; our mate Jason Forrest aka DJ Donna Summer is coming to play Funder Strikes at the Commonplace. This has to be your best excuse ever for not going to bed for two nights in a row! Jason will be playing with Leeds’ best band, Bilge Pump, and it’s the usual cheap bar/ cheap entry scenario, with disco/funk and pop/90s DJs till 2am.
This is all talking place on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April. Please join us for the two best gigs this side of summer!!
