January 24, 2008, 11:00 pm : Gig with Jenny Hoyston in February

Allo all. No news is good news, right… well, let’s break the silence..

Number one, we are playing a gig with Jenny Hoyston from Erase Errata, Tigers! and Beards at the Brudenell on 17th February. It’s being put on by Room237 so it could well be a busy one; get your tickets and get Monday morning off work.

Secondly, while I’m here I may as well make the point that we never, ever check Myspace these days, mainly because there are 59 pages of unread messages in there, and I don’t have the time to go through them. I have just embarked on the mammoth task of re-recording the entire third album complete with vocals and stuff. It’s going to be much bigger and punchier than anything I’ve recorded before; it wouldn’t be right to release a record that’s not pushing us forward in some way, and as such, I think the extra work will be worthwhile, even if it takes longer.

Hopefully, this will all be done in April. We have a gig planned in Berlin in April which should be the unveiling of the new sound and may well kick off some travels much further afield. I’d quite like to go back to the other side of the word before 2008 is over, with a few new recruits in tow. Interested? Whoever shouts the loudest gets the gigs, so just tell me where you are and we’ll come to you!
