April 17, 2007, 12:59 am : No no no! And video!
OK, the Swiss tour isn’t happening. Sorry about that, I jumped the gun and neglected to factor in the issue of getting a ‘real job’. Our next gig is likely to be in July, at a friend’s outdoor mini-festival in Kent - for now, I’ll be writing some new songs and finishing off some ideas that didn’t make it onto the second album, with the aim of getting the next CD out in good time. Something in Leeds might pop up inbetween, you never know, although we have no plans for the moment. Andrew and I have both recently started working on separate new bands and it feels like a good time to invest some time in that.
When we do play again, we will hopefully have a new vocalist, Katie, and potentially a third synth player on board. Katie is, incidentally, Matt randomnumber’s girlfriend and one of the few people I’d entrust PC vocals to. Again, this should help in shaking things up and injecting a bit more energy into our rehearsals.
In the meantime, Katie and I will be performing with Leeds supergroup/covers band/ Polaris spin-off project, Trydent, for a birthday do at the Brudenell on Friday. I’m not sure if you have to pay to get in, but even if you do, it’ll be well worth the dollars.
We have also been talking about starting some video projects, which are likely to be part-documentary, part-music, although lots of ideas are already flowing for other things too. Maybe we’ll even get around to making the second Printed Circuit video! I’ve got some ideas so I’ll see where they take us.

Hi there. So here is the news. First off, we MAY (not sure yet) be touring Switzerland with Eats Tapes in May. We have to wait and see how that pans out, but Archie is working on it for us.
Secondly, work on the third album has begun… untitled as yet, but it’s in progress. I don’t think I’ll be releasing it myself, seeing as Catmobile has wound itself down (and all the URLs stopped working which is kinda fitting I guess), but we shall see.
And my new band, Danceformers, has a Myspace now, even though we have no music on there yet (soon, eh). So why not add us? http://www.myspace.com/danceformers
Finally, our gig at Chinchillafest got a good review in Sandman, and apparently it’s in the new Plan B as well, although we haven’t seen it yet so we’re not sure. Someone from Plan B was taking pictures of the crowd while we were playing, and by the state of the people stood around me, I bet they are very entertaining snaps!
