August 13, 2006, 10:25 pm : Data Panik last night

Last night I was at the Faversham to see one of my favourite bands, Data Panik, playing at my friends’ wedding. Many thanks to Mofette for the sweaty pic and to Adam & Jo for a totally ace day out (Adam, Jo and myself all met through going to see bis in our teens - reminiscences a go go - and DP even dusted off ‘Kandy Pop’ especially for the occasion. Cue madness).

Data Panik have kindly contributed ‘Minimum Wage’ to a comp I am releasing on my label, Catmobile. The comp (titled ‘You Can Dance The Dream With Your Body On’) will also feature The Warm, Cowtown, Oh No Not Him and lots of other recent faves. I’m hoping to release it around my birthday in September. More info to follow on the Catmobile site (when I do it up!).
